PGA Tour Procore Championship Underway In Napa Valley

Among new amenities this year is the Napa Valley Fan Village, which allows fans "to sip, taste and shop" while watching the PGA action.

NAPA VALLEY, CA — The PGA Tour is in Wine Country for a tournament that started Thursday.

The Procore Championship is being held through Sunday at the North Course at Silverado Resort, located east of Napa.

Gates to the tournament opened at 7 a.m. Thursday and the first golfers of the day teed off.

Among the 144 golfers expected at the Procore Championship are the tournament's 2023 champion Sahith Theegala and its 2021 and 2022 winner Max Homa.

Among new amenities at this year's event are the Napa Valley Fan Village, which organizers say "will allow fans to sip, taste and shop while still getting to watch the PGA Tour action," with food and drink options and eyeglass and sunglass shopping.

The Procore Championship is also partnering with the Boys & Girls Club of Napa Valley to bring a mobile STEM lab to the tournament to provide an interactive experience exploring robotics, coding and other new technologies in the Fan Village area.

Children 15 and younger get in free if accompanied by an adult with a ticket, with tickets starting at $50 per day and free admission Friday for military personnel and discounted tickets Saturday for currently enrolled college students.
