Police Nab Four Drivers in DUI Sting

Of the 49 cars pulled over, 10 drivers admitted to consuming alcohol and four were arrested for DUI, police said.

Police in Napa arrested four people Saturday night during an operation targeting drunken drivers.

Four officers conducted the operation from 9 p.m. Saturday to 2 a.m. today, according to Napa police. Approximately 49 vehicles were pulled over throughout the night, police said.

Ten drivers admitted to consuming alcohol or displayed signs of being intoxicated, police said, and four individuals were ultimately arrested for DUI.

One driver was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

Funding for the operation was provided by a grant from the state Office of Traffic Safety and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
