Results Of Distracted Driver Police Patrols In Napa Announced

Napa Police have released the results of saturation patrols looking for distracted drivers conducted throughout the city on Wednesday.

NAPA - Napa Police have released the results of saturation patrols looking for distracted drivers conducted throughout the city on Wednesday., April 20.

Cell phone violations were most common. Of the 45 vehicle stops Napa police made on Wednesday, 31 citations were issued for talking on a cell phone while driving, while five drivers were caught texting.

The Napa Police Department is one of several law enforcement agencies in California that are participating in a month-long distracted driving campaign.
