Sex Trafficking Victims Found In American Canyon Man's Home: NSIB
Napa Special Investigations Bureau said the felon, on Post Release Community Supervision, was subject to search and seizure at any time.

AMERICAN CANYON, CA β The Napa Special Investigations Bureau arrested an American Canyon
man Thursday morning on suspicion of pandering after three sex trafficking victims were found in his residence.
Brandon Barrett, 23, a convicted felon on Post Release Community Supervision subject to search and seizure at any time, provided a false Pinole address to his Contra Costa County probation officer.
NSIB detectives tried to contact him as he left his apartment in the 200 block of Reliant Way in American Canyon, but Barrett barricaded himself inside the apartment, the NSIB said in a news release.

Detectives knew there was at least one woman in Barrett's apartment, and soon learned there were three human trafficking victims inside, the NSIB said.
American Canyon Police responded and set up a perimeter and efforts were made to negotiate Barrett's surrender. SWAT teams from the Napa County Sheriff's Office and Napa Police Department also responded in the event of an armed confrontation, but Barrett surrendered peacefully an hour later and was arrested.
