Strong Storm To Hit Napa

Expect some park closures at Trancas Crossing Park and Kennedy Park, where heavy rainfall may trigger localized flooding, the city said.

NAPA, CA — Napa is forecasted to see a significant storm roll in this week, with the most severe conditions expected on Wednesday.

This storm is expected to bring heavy rains and widespread, gusty winds. With these conditions, we can expect the potential for downed power lines and power outages, as well as downed trees and branches. Additionally, expect some park closures at Trancas Crossing Park and Kennedy Park, as the heavy rainfall may trigger some localized flooding at these locations.

We urge our community stay safe by:
- preparing for possible power outages
- staying away from downed power lines
- driving slowly and safely as road conditions will be slick and wet

Self-serve Sandbags will be available at the City Corp Yard, 770 Jackson Street, on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, from 7 AM – 3:30 PM both days. Sandbags will also be available during our monthly sandbag operation this Saturday from 9 AM – 1 PM.
