NAPA VALLEY, CA — Authorities are investigating an early-morning crash in Napa that injured three after the vehicle drove into a ditch Sunday.

Cal Fire, Napa County Fire, American Medical Response and the California Highway Patrol responded Sunday at 6 a.m. to a report of a single-vehicle accident near the 4300 block of Old Sonoma Highway in Napa.

The car drove off the roadway into a ditch, officials said. Three occupants in the car were injured in the crash and transported to a local hospital, according to a news release.

Cal Fire said responders declared a Level 1 Mass Casualty Incident to ensure the driver and passengers received adequate medical resources and coordination.
