Traffic Advisory: Emergency Tree Removal Underway In Napa County
One-way traffic control is in effect on northbound and southbound Highway 29 in Calistoga, Caltrans said.
NAPA COUNTY, CA — The emergency removal of dead and hazardous trees is needed on a section of Highway 29 in Calistoga, Caltrans said Wednesday.
Caltrans started the work Wednesday morning and expects the emergency tree removal to continue daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday, Sept. 8.
Motorists traveling between Calistoga and Middletown should expect delays during work hours, as Caltrans will have one-way traffic control in effect for both northbound and southbound SR-29 between Tubbs Lane and Old Lawley Toll Road.

The traffic control is for the safety of both workers and motorists, Caltrans said.
All work is weather-dependent and may be extended or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather, Caltrans said.
