Transient Causes Disturbance In Public Gym, Arrested: Police
The incident happened at Fitness 19 in American Canyon.
AMERICAN CANYON, CA — A transient was arrested Wednesday when he caused a disturbance inside a public gym, police said.
It is alleged that Elfego Perez Aguilar, 31, was bothering staff and customers at Fitness 19, 120 American Canyon Road. He was not a member of the gym but repeatedly kept returning to the business despite being asked to leave multiple times, police said.
Staff called the police to report the disturbance around 5 p.m. Wednesday.

"When officers contacted him near the location, he refused to comply with their orders, which led to a physical struggle before he was arrested," American Canyon police Lt. Nicol Dudley said.
He also had two outstanding warrants related to previous charges of resisting arrest, which Dudley said added to the severity of the situation.

Perez Aguilar was arrested for the warrants, violating his Napa County probation and resisting or delaying a peace officer, the lieutenant said.
He was booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections and was still in custody Thursday morning.
