Truck Overturns, Blocks Napa County Roadway

A 30-foot-long tree-trimming truck rolled over, prompting a several-hour road closure.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — Buhman Avenue was expected to remain closed in both directions between Old Sonoma Road and Henry Road until 7 p.m. Monday, Napa County Public Works announced.

A 30-foot-long tree-trimming truck overturned in the roadway around 3:45 p.m. Monday, blocking both lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol.

There were some tree shavings in the back of the truck but fortunately, not a lot, CHP dispatchers wrote.

Cal Fire, which responded to the crash along with the CHP, Napa City Fire Department and AMR ambulance, posted photos of the overturned truck on social media.

"With current weather conditions, we can’t express enough the importance of slowing down, keeping your eyes on the road and practicing safe driving," Cal Fire LNU said.

The extent of injuries suffered in the crash was not clear.
