What's Happening This Week in Napa Valley?

Napa Town & Country Fair runs Wed.-Sun. at Napa Valley Expo.

The last week of summer before school starts (Aug. 14 for Napa Unified School District) is packed with activities.

Here are some highlights. More events are on our Napa Valley Patch calendar.

Tuesday, Aug. 6
National Night Out block parties set in Napa at the Target store and in Yountville at the Community Center. Both start about 5 p.m. Party with police and firefighters, build community.

Wednesday, Aug. 7 through Sunday, Aug. 11
Napa Town and Country Fair at the Napa Valley Expo. Five nights of entertainment, pig races, livestock shows, cooking contests, food booths, games, a parade and much more. Daily noon to 10 p.m.

Also:
Napa County Supervisors meet 8 a.m. Tuesday for a special meeting. Regular meeting is at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Napa City Council meets 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. No evening session this week.
