Woman Killed In Napa; Suspect On The Loose: Police

"There is no current threat to public safety and the investigation has indicated this is an isolated event," police said.

NAPA, CA — Detectives are investigating a homicide after a woman was killed Sunday in Napa, according to police.

Officers responded around 10:30 a.m. to a report of a dead woman in the 4300 block of Dale Drive, police said, and arrived to find the victim, who was later pronounced dead.

“Currently the suspect has been identified, however he is not in custody and not believed to be in Napa,” police said Sunday in a news release. “Detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for the arrest of the suspect and are currently attempting to locate him. The identity of the victim is currently being withheld for investigative purposes and out of respect for the family.
