Woman Seriously Injured In Wine-Country Crash
The California Highway Patrol said the woman hit a tree when her car went off Highway 29.
NAPA VALLEY, CA— A young woman from Vacaville was seriously injured in a solo car crash Thursday night in Napa County, the California Highway Patrol said.
The 25-year-old was driving a Toyota Camry south on state Highway 29, south of Bella Oaks Lane, when she drove off the roadway and into a tree, CHP Officer Marc Renspurger said.
The woman was not wearing a seat belt, the CHP said.

She was rushed to Queen of the Valley Medical Center by AMR ambulance.
The crash remained under investigation Friday.

"It is unknown if alcohol or drugs are a factor in this crash because [she] was unconscious after the crash," Renspurger said.
