Woody Harrelson, Christian Bale Film Bring Out Fans at Napa Valley Film Fest

The acclaimed film "Out of the Furnace" was added as a special showing for the Napa Valley Film Festival late Saturday night. 

At the end of the intense, emotional, thriller the packed Napa Valley Opera House audience stood up and cheered.

 Excellent acting and casting with Christian Bale and Woody Harrelson should be considered for Oscars nominations. The film was directed by Scott Cooper who also directed "Crazy Heart."

Other cast members include: Casey Affleck, Forest Whitaker, Willem Dafore, Zoe Saldana and Sam Shepard. The film was produced by Ridley Scott and Leonardo DiCaprio.

The release date is for the first week of December.

One of the after-parties and dinners Saturday night for film goers was hosted by Napa Valley Life magazine at a popular downtown restaurant.
