$5M+ Lottery Ticket Sold In OC Beach Town

CORONA DEL MAR, CA — A winning lottery ticket was sold in Orange County over the past weekend.

A Mega Millions ticket sold at a CVS in Corona del Mar is worth more than $5.1 million, according to California Lottery Officials.

The ticket represents one of the largest second-place winners in state history, officials said.

The ticket was sold at the CVS store at Jasmine Avenue and Coast Highway, officials said.

The ticket matched the first five numbers in Friday night's drawing, which where 34, 38, 42, 44 and 69. Only the Mega Ball, 8, was missing on the ticket.

The $5,104,961 prize ranks second among California's biggest five-number Mega Millions wins, officials said.
