NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Visitors to Newport Beach this summer won't have to worry about driving around and finding parking in the Balboa Peninsula as the city is bringing back its free weekend trolley service starting Saturday.

The Balboa Peninsula Trolley will operate Saturdays and Sundays until Sept. 5, from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

City officials said the trolley will operate during these three Monday holidays:

Drivers can get free parking at the Avon Lot if they use the ParkMobile phone app and enter the code "TROLLEY22," according to city officials.
