The Los Angeles County Department of Beaches & Harbors presents Marina Drive-In Movie Nights at Parking Lot #2 Public Boat Launch on Fridays and Saturdays with two movies showing at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

---Other Venice Film Festival (OVFF)proudly returns for its 18th season this October 1st to 3rd, 2021 at Beyond Barque. The #OVFF is a nonprofit community event dedicated to screening full-length features, short films and music videos that embody the spirit, energy and diversity of Venice, California and beyond. The screenings will commence with the short film “Superstar” directed by Jordan Hidalgo, followed by the feature film “The Incoherents” starring Emmy-nominee Annette O’Toole and Amy Carlson, directed by Jared Barel.

Located behind the iconic Egyptian Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard, the newly opened theater boasts its status as the only DCI-compliant outdoor cinema in all of Los Angeles for first-run features.

--- Independent suprise “Sarogeto” swept the local and surrounding film festival circuit taking home over a dozen awards including Best Film, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Living Legend (Eric Roberts), Best Actor (Winsor Harmon III), Best Actress (Ikumi Yoshimatsu), Best Foreign Film, Breathrough Performance (Ruby Park) and Best Soundtrack (Martin Tillman, Jakob Balogh, Keaton Simons). Directed and produced by Nico Santucci with screenplay by T.M. Hayes, many emotional scenes were shot on our beautiful beachs of Newport, Laguna and Marina del Rey.
