"Lobsta Monsta" Food Truck to Bring New England-Style Lobster Rolls to SoCal

Newport Beach, CA — A taste of the East Coast is rolling West! The Lobsta Monsta, a playful, family-friendly food truck serving authentic New England lobster rolls, creamy Monsta Mac, Claw Chowda, and more, is preparing to launch a Kickstarter campaign to bring the truck to life in Southern California.

The founders, a husband—and—wife team, Kyle and Julianna Patterson, are blending their personal story with bold culinary flavors. Julianna, who grew up in Maine, shares that “some of my sweetest memories were eating lobster rolls by the ocean with my grandparents. Since moving to California seven years ago, I’ve longed to pass that tradition on to our kids — but there’s nothing like it here.”

That’s about to change.

With a fully branded truck, fun nautical theme, and mouth-watering menu items like the Lobsta Monsta Roll, Claw Chowda, and Monsta Fries, the couple is aiming to park along the coastal cities of Newport Beach, Laguna, Huntington, Venice, Santa Monica, and Malibu — bringing buttery, New England-style comfort food to the shores of SoCal.

The Kickstarter campaign will fund key startup costs, including:

• A custom-wrapped food truck
• Commercial kitchen equipment
• Initial food and supply inventory
• Permits, branding, and 30 days of launch operations
