NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Eight newly restored cottages at the Crystal Cove Conservancy will open to the public after a soft opening starting Monday, Nov. 13.

The soft opening is the next step in the North Beach Cottage Restoration Project, Marketing Communications Manager to The Conservancy Laura Lanzi said.

According to Lanzi, the first reservation window is expected to happen on Monday, Nov. 13 at 8 .m. through the official California State Parks reservation system, ReserveCalifornia.com.

Once that window opens, patrons will be able to reserve the eight newly-restored cottages for stays happening the following four weeks.

  • #3: Shell Crafter’s Cottage, Cottage.
  • #3 ½: Teacher’s Retreat, Cottage.
  • #4A: Flotsam and Jetsam, Cottage.
  • #4B: Captain’s Quarters, Cottage.
  • #6: Hawaiian Bungalow, Cottage.
  • #7: Little Grass Shack, Cottage.
  • #8: Rustic Retreat, and Cottage.
  • #12: North Beach Tower.

Moving forward, The Conservancy expects the next window of reservations to open through March 1, 2024. After, cottage reservations will resume on a regular schedule, generally opening at 8 a.m. daily on a six-month rolling window.
