More than 40 Newport Beach eateries will have exclusive, multi-course menus on offer in January.
NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Foodies are gearing up for one of the Orange County's most anticipated culinary events as Newport Beach Restaurant Week returns after a four-year hiatus.
Jan. 15 through Jan. 25, the week will offer special prix-fixe menus at more than 40 participating restaurants across the city "from iconic waterfront spots to hidden local favorites," organizers said.
Participating venues include well-known names such as Bayside Restaurant, The Bungalow, Lighthouse Newport Beach, A Crystal Cove, Avila's El Ranchito and The Winery Restaurant & Wine Bar, among many others.

The event, which began in 2007, is now coordinated by the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce.
“We’re excited to bring back Newport Beach Restaurant Week,” Steve Rosansky, president and CEO of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce, wrote in a release. “We have so many fine restaurants in the city that deserve to be showcased, and Restaurant Week is the perfect way to introduce diners to restaurants they might not have tried at price points that won’t break the bank or put a dent in your wallet.”
