1 Killed In Two-Vehicle San Fernando Valley Crash
One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision involving a big rig today on the Foothill (210) Freeway in the San Fernando Valley.
SAN FERNANDO VALLEY -- One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision involving a big rig today on the Foothill (210) Freeway near San Fernando.
California Highway Patrol officers responded at 3:58 a.m. to the westbound freeway and the Hubbard Street exit where they learned a vehicle slammed into the back of a semi truck, CHP Officer Sean Lough told City News Service.
The victim died at the scene. KABC 7 reported the victim was the driver or a passenger in the vehicle that rear ended the semi.

The crash all lanes of the Foothill Freeway.
It was the second fatal crash Wednesday morning on the westbound freeway in less than an hour. In Sylmar, a semi fatally struck a pedestrian near Polk Street.
