1 Person Injured After Hit-And-Run Collision On The 118 Freeway

NORTHRIDGE, CA — One person was injured after a hit-and-run collision on the westbound state Route 118, Ronald Reagan Freeway, Thursday.

The collision was reported just before 4 p.m. at Reseda Boulevard, according to California Highway Patrol. Around the same time, another car was seen stalled on the freeway at the same spot.

There was one reported injury, according to CHP. Information on the nature of the injury was not immediately available.

There was significant traffic on the westbound state Route 118 from Chimineas Avenue to Corbin Avenue.

There was another reported collision at Tampa Avenue on the westbound state Route 118. It was not immediately clear if the two incidents were related.
