VIDEO: Amtrak Train Hits Man Near Corbin Avenue

Police were searching railroad tracks in Chatsworth late Saturday for the remains of a man in his mid-20s hit by an Amtrak train at 9:08 p.m.

The train remained stopped behind the Mimi's Cafe and Olive Garden restaurants near 9080 Corbin Ave.

The victim's name was withheld by police. No information about why he was on the tracks was available.

The last person hit by an Amtrak train in Chatsworth was , who was struck and killed near the depot on Dec. 29.
