Antonovich to Demand Edison Answer Questions About Regional Power Outage
County mayor asks SCE to appear at Board of Supervisors meeting.
Dear Friends,
As power outages continue into the fifth day for thousands of San Gabriel Valley residents, I have urged Southern California Edison to expedite the restoration of power. In a meeting with Edison officials today, my office also requested an increase in communication to impacted customers to inform them about updates on service restoration.
Since the windstorm, my office has received dozens of phone calls and e-mails from residents who have been without power since last Thursday -- many of whom are elderly or infirmed – expressing frustration with the lack of information being provided by Edison with regard to power restoration.
