Cal State Northridge has advised students and staff to evacuate the campus after a report of a potential armed suspect.

NORTHRIDGE, CA -- Cal State Northridge has advised students and staff to evacuate the campus after a report of a potential armed suspect. Campus police are advising those unable to leave the campus to shelter in place -- and others to stay away altogether.

UPDATE: 5 PM PT: In a tweet, CSUN Police Services said that there is no longer a threat and that the campus is "open and operational."
