Brush Fire Burns 3 Acres next to 118 in Chatsworth
More than 75 firefighters attacked from the ground and the air to keep it from spreading.

A brush fire broke burned 3 acres at the 118 Freeway at Rinaldi Street.
The fire was reported just before 8 p.m. Friday, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Eric Scott.
More than 75 firefighters responded from the ground and air, working to surround the fire, Scott said. The aggressive attack proved successful, knocking down the flames in just 28 minutes.

No structures were threatened and no one was injured, Scott said. The cause of the fire remains under active investigation.
