Car Overturns in Flames on 118 Freeway

A vehicle overturned in flames Saturday in a multi-vehicle collision on the 118-Freeway in Chatsworth, sending two people to hospitals.

A driver who passed the accident told Patch that a Scion was overtuned and burning.

The crash was reported at 5:35 p.m. on the eastbound 118 just west of Topanga Canyon Boulevard, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

One man and one woman were taken to hospitals in unknown condition, Humphrey said.

The cause of the crash was unknown.
