The Council's monthly meeting begins 7 p.m. at Lawrence Middle School, 10100 Variel Ave. The Neighborhood Council is the community's voice in City Hall.  The Council is elected in a public vote by area stakeholders and advises Councilman Greig Smith on land use and other issues.

The board of directors are nominated and elected by a vote of the Council. André van der Valk was elected the new Council president at the April meeting.
