Motorcycle Crash Shuts Down De Soto Ave.

A collision between a motorcycle and a car shut down De Soto Avenue Thursday.

Chatsworth Patch reader Lin Valentino became a photographer/reporter and recorded the scene.

One victim was rushed to the hospital, according to Matt Spence of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The 11:20 a.m. accident at the intersection of De Soto Avenue and Tulsa Street closed the heavily traveled thoroughfare between Chatsworth and Rinaldi streets, Valentino said.  De Soto is one of the only two Chatsworth access streets to the 118-Freeway.
