Edward Headington Is Running in the 38th Assembly District
He is seeking to succeed Cameron Smythe who is termed out.

Edward Headington, a board member on the Granada Hills North Neighborhood Council, has announced his candidacy for the 38th District seat in the state Assembly.
He introduced himself Wednesday to those attending the Chatsworth Neighborhood Council board meeting.
The 38th District includes the communities of Agua Dulce, Castaic, Chatsworth, Granada Hills, Porter Ranch, Santa Clarita, Santa Susana, Simi Valley, and Stevenson Ranch.

He is seeking to replace Cameron Smythe who can not run again because of term limits. Headington, a Democrat, is the only San Fernando Valley-based candidate in the district.
Headington is planning a Chatsworth fundraiser on Nov. 19, with details on his campaign website at www.edward2012.com.
