The average price in Los Angeles County rose Sunday for the 19th consecutive day, increasing 1.9 cents to $4.163, the highest since Aug. 7, 2008.
The average price is 8.8 cents higher than a week ago, 22.9 cents above
what it was one month ago and $1.062 greater than it was one year ago,
according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 46.3 cents less than the record high of $4.626 set
on June 21, 2008.
