Expect Hot, Windy Weather In Northridge And Chatsworth

Northridge and Chatsworth will see temperatures up to 102 degrees and wind gusts up to 40 miles per hour throughout the week.

NORTHRIDGE-CHATSWORTH, CA — Northridge and Chatsworth will see hot temperatures and heavy winds this week, according to the National Weather Service for Los Angeles and Oxnard.

The San Fernando Valley will see temperatures up to 102 degrees between Wednesday morning and Friday evening, according to NWS. Winds are expected to sit between 15 and 25 miles per hour with gusts up to 40 miles per hour starting Monday at 6 p.m. and lasting through Tuesday morning.

Residents are advised to secure outdoor objects as wind can blow insecure items around. Wind could make driving more difficult and could cause power outages, according to NWS.
