As anticipated, three incumbent members of the Los Angeles Unified School District Board of Education cruised to easy re-election victories Tuesday.
Tamar Galatzan, a deputy city attorney, also easily retained her District 3 seat representing the western San Fernando Valley, including Chatsworth. Her lone challenger was teacher Louis Pugliese, who leads teacher-training classes at Cal State Northridge.
