Grab A Scoop And Chat With Your Elected Officials Saturday

Northridge locals will have a chance to chat up their local elected officials over ice cream this Saturday.

NORTHRIDGE-CHATSWORTH, CA — What could be sweeter than free ice cream on a sunny San Fernando Valley Saturday?

The Northridge West Neighborhood Council will host an ice cream social Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Oakridge Estate Park, located at 18650 Devonshire Street.

With sweet treats provided by American Softy, Northridge residents will have a chance to mingle with local officials like Los Angeles City Councilmember John Lee, who represents Northridge and Chatsworth. California Assemblymember Suzette Martinez Valladares — who represents parts of Chatsworth, Santa Clarita, Granada Hills and Porter Ranch — is also expected to stop by.

Los Angeles Police Department senior lead officers and the Northridge West Neighborhood Council will also stop by Saturday for some ice cream.
