L.A. Creamery Scooped by Southland Groceries
The Chatsworth business will sell its 12 flavors and seasonal offerings at more than 40 stores.

Chatsworth-based ice cream maker L.A. Creamery has struck a deal to sell its products in major grocery stores throughout Southern California, according to Business Wire.
The brand, run by Umami Burger owner Adam Fleischman, will soon be shipping pints of flavors like salted caramel and chocolate ganache to Albertsons Select, Gelson's Bristol Farms, Lazy Acres, Gelson's and Albertsons Select markets.
Other flavors promised to be stocked in grocery freezers include, honeycomb, toasted coconut, chocolate hazelnut, salted chocolate and pistachio.

Some stores throughout the Southland, like the Bristol Farms in West Hollywood, are already carrying L.A. Creamery ice cream.
Prior to inking the deal, offerings from the self-dubbed "artisan ice cream" maker were sold in luxury hotel restaurants.
