LAFD Fights Grass Fire on Prairie Street
Blaze was reported at 8:55 p.m. near railroad tracks.

A grass fire burned Friday night in an industrial area in Chatsworth.
The fire was reported at 8:55 p.m. near railroad tracks and businesses at 20700 Prairie St., two blocks east of De Soto Avenue, said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
"Firefighters are having to ladder over fences and large bodies of water to attack,'' Scott said.

With 30 firefighters on the scene, the flames were under control in 25 minutes, Scott said.
No injuries were reported. No structures were damaged.
