Little Change to Average Northridge-Chatsworth Gas Price
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gas in Northridge-Chatsworth rose two-tenths of cent today to $5.37.

NORTHRIDGE-CHATSWORTH -- The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose two-tenths of cent today to $5.372, one day after a run of 35 increases in 37 days totaling 39.9 cents ended with a decrease of one-tenth of a cent.
The average price is at its highest amount since Nov. 18 and 1.5 cents more than one week ago, 28.1 cents higher than one month ago and 11 cents above what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service.
The average price has dropped $1.122 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5.

The national average price dropped two-tenths of a cent to $3.825 after three consecutive increases totaling nine-tenths of a cent, including four-tenths of a cent both Tuesday and Wednesday. It is 1.2 cents less than one week ago and 1.6 cents lower than one year ago but 6.8 cents more than one month ago.
The national average price has dropped $1.191 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
