Lucky is at the Pound and Needs Your Help!
This dog is in desperate need of a new home.
A 4-year-old pooch in need of a home Patch wrote about last week was recently dropped off at the pound.
Lucky belonged to the caregiver of reader Peggy Burgess, who can't keep the dog but is trying to find an owner.
She thought the dog was a purebred Rhodesian Ridgeback, but some new developments proved otherwise.

"Also, I found out from Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue that, although his papers say he's a Ridgeback mix, he is not," Burgess said, adding: "Anyway, he's probably a Boxer mix Whatever he is, he's a wonderful, handsome dog that does not deserve to die. So please spread word to all the rescue groups you know and everyone else. He's got to have a home."
As mentioned previously, Lucky has a bit of an anxiety problem and cannot be left alone, but being adopted into a home with another dog would solve the problem.
