A sedan is nearly demolished in the two-vehicle crash in Chatsworth Thursday night.
Two people were rushed to the Trauma Center at Northridge Hospital Medical Center following a major two-vehicle crash Thursday night at the intersection of Devonshire Street and Topanga Canyon Boulevard, said Brian Humphrey, spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Firefighters and medical teams from Fire Stations 96 and 107 in Chatsworth responded to the crash, where one person was briefly trapped before being freed by firefighters.
A white, extended-cab pickup truck had major front-end damage, and a dark four-door sedan was nearly demolished in the 7 p.m. wreck, which closed the intersection as traffic backed up for more than a half-hour.
