Man Shot During Robbery Attempt In North Hills; Shooter At Large
A man was shot during an attempted robbery while walking with his son on a North Hills street, authorities said.
NORTH HILLS, CA — A young man was shot and wounded during an attempted robbery as he walked in North Hills with his son, and the assailant remained at large Monday.
Paramedics were sent to the 16200 block of Nordhoff Street about 8:15 p.m. Sunday.
The man, about 20-25 years old, was walking with his son when a male suspect drove up in a dark vehicle, demanded property and shot the victim, whose name was not immediately released, according to a dispatcher at the Los Angeles Police Department's Operations Center.

A relative took the wounded man to a hospital, where he was in stable condition, the dispatcher said.
No arrests were reported, and no suspect information was released.
