Metro to Close Parthenia and Canoga for Construction

Storm drain to be installed at night, June 6-8.

Alert from Metro regarding Orange Line construction:

WHAT: Full street closure and storm drain installation

WHEN: Monday, June 6, 2011 - Wednesday, June 8, 2011 from approximately 9:00pm-6:00am; weather permitting.

WHERE: Bus Rapid Transit crossing along the easterly side of Canoga Ave. on Parthenia St.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Detours: traffic traveling eastbound on Parthenia, will be detoured south on Canoga Ave, east on Roscoe Blvd, north on De Soto Ave back to Parthenia St.
Traffic traveling westbound on Parthenia, will be detoured north on De Soto Ave, west on Nordhoff St, south on Canoga Ave back to Parthenia St.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times on at least one side of the street.
Local access to businesses and residents will be maintained at all times.
Parking may be restricted near the intersection
Fire Department and emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times.
