UPDATE: Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Crash in Chatsworth

The driver of a motorcycle was transported to a hospital on a stretcher after being involved in an accident about 9:33 p.m. Friday with an SUV at the intersection of Devonshire Street and Mason Avenue in Chatsworth.

According to Sgt. Mike Zaboski of the Valley Traffic Division, one of the drivers committed a right-of-way violation that resulted in the crash, although he did not have enough information to say which driver had committed the violation.

The driver of the motorcycle suffered pelvic fractures but was transported to Northridge Hospital and is expected to live, according to Zaboski.
