Timothy Norton left Chatsworth's Goldstar Health Care facility to buy cigarettes, police say.

Police were fanning out around a health care facility in Chatsworth this morning in search of a 62-year-old man who wandered away to buy cigarettes and didn't return, and needs medications to survive, a sergeant said.

Timothy Norton left the Goldstar Health Care facility in the 21800 block of Craggy View Street at 7 p.m. Sunday, before taking his medication. He was last seen on foot, leaving a mini-mart at Devonshire Street and Topanga Canyon Boulevard, Walter said.
