Rising Gasoline Prices Take Another Day Off

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County was unchanged today for a third consecutive day, remaining at $3.973. However, the cheapest gas in Chatsworth is $3.79.

The average price is two-tenths of a cent higher than a week ago, 40.9 cents above what it was one month ago and 87.9 cents greater than it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
