Something Haunted Is Happening on Mayall Street

Halloween display and a live band await Halloween revelers.

"People just don't decorate for Halloween anymore," said Greg Alman as he adjusted a balky light at his annual boneyard on Mayall Street in Chatsworth.

However, he and Risa Goldberg are making up for lack of spirit in other yards, and they've been doing it for more than 10 years, he said.

Their ghosts, goblins and lost souls from the high seas welcome about 300 trick-or-treaters every year, he said.
