'Turn Yourself In, Things Are Going to Be Really Bad,' Says Brent Zubek's Mom
LAPD is still hunting a suspect in the deaths of a couple found decomposing in a Chatsworth dumpster.

Los Angeles police are still hunting a suspect Monday in the deaths of a man and woman found decomposing in a dumpster in Chatsworth.
The suspect is Brent D. Zubek, a 43-year-old man who eluded undercover officers and abandoned his pickup truck in Van Nuys.
Zubek is regarded by police as armed and dangerous. He was described as 5-feet-11 inches tall, weighing about 185 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.

Zubek's sister, Lisa Zubek, told KCAL9 "I think he needs to come in so that the facts can come to light.''
The sister said news that her brother was wanted in the deaths "was
quite a shock. Unfortunately, we haven't seen or had communication with him for some time,'' she said.

"Hopefully there won't be a bad outcome to what appears to be a really horrible situation right now,'' Lisa Zubek told Channel 9.
Mother Carole Zubek pleaded through another broadcast outlet: "I fear that if the police find out before you turn yourself in, things are going to be really bad.''
Zubek has reportedly served time in prison for bank robberies.
The bodies of the man and woman were found in a dumpster at a home near Lassen Street at Oso Avenue about 6 a.m. Saturday.
Detectives asked for the public's patience as they withheld details about the identity of the bodies, why a search warrant was served at the house, and even minor details about the discovery.
The property apparently changed hands recently. It had been a daycare center and adult daycare center before it went into foreclosure and was sold last month, Chatsworth Patch has reported.
