$1M Bail Set For Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting Child

The suspect is being held in the Marin County Jail.

NOVATO, CA — Bail was set at $1 million for a Novato man accused of sexually assaulting a child several years ago, according to authorities.

The Novato Police Department alleged in a statement that a 12-year-old child was sexually assaulted by Oseas Hernandez Cotuc, 38. Detectives reportedly received statements from several witnesses and gathered enough proof about it for an arrest.

Hernandez Cotuc was nabbed Thursday on suspicion of four sexual assault crimes. He was booked into Marin County Jail, according to police.
