Serial Target Thief Accused Of Swiping Thousands In Loot Arrested, Police Say
Police said the suspect was connected to five thefts from the same Target store. He also had an outstanding warrant from another city.

NOVATO, CA — A San Francisco man is accused of repeatedly shoplifting from a Novato Target, including a recent theft that netted more than $2,000 in stolen merchandise, according to police.
According to investigators, store staffers called police Friday after seeing the man grabbing items in the store. An officer arrived to take the man into custody and determined he was a suspect in at least four active burglary investigations at the same Target, police said.
Investigators said the man also had an outstanding felony warrant for grand theft from the Morgan Hill Police Department.

The suspect was booked into the Marin County Jail on suspicion of multiple burglaries and the warrant.
"We would like to thank store staff members and witnesses who reported these incidents while they were occurring," police said in a news release. "Witnesses providing timely and accurate information can be the key in helping us solve these cases."
