Facebook Page Created to Help Novato Folks Find Lost Pets

There's a new spot on the Internet to share information about lost pets in Novato.

Local resident Jennifer Gasaway, who recently endured the trauma of losing a pet, created the Novato Pets Facebook page for people to exchange information and post PDF fliers about missing pets.

"I would love to unite as many in the community as possible to help bring our pets home — via email, Facebook, word of mouth, etc.," Gasaway said. "A lost pet can be devastating."

Of course, anyone can post a lost pet notification on Novato Patch's Facebook page or create an announcement on the site. You just need a login and password — which are free — to do the latter. Here is an example of a Novato Patch announcement that helped lead to the finding of a lost dog.
