Hey Novato people! A lost dog needs your help!
He's a muscular yellow lab named Mack. He ran out after his grandparents' car in Wild Horse Valley as they left for a trip — and he's still running.
He was seen on the freeway around the Bel Marin Keys overpass, then seen on Ignacio Boulevard. He made it to the hills of IVC; people spotted him but no one has been able to get him.

Mack has been looking for his owner, Victoria, who has been out calling his name since Saturday, Oct. 27. He is skittish around other people and might not come to you. If you see him please call Victoria right away at 415-595-8097.
And try to keep an eye on where he goes. The last woman who saw him said his paws are bleeding from running. Breaks my heart!

And guess what? Some Indian Valley homeowners told Mack's heartbroken owner they will call police if she keeps calling his name and would hurt the dog if they found him!! Can you believe that? FYI, there is no sound ordinance or restrictions on calling your dog. And threatening an animal or hurting an animal that is NOT on your property is a punishable crime.
He could be anywhere between Indian Valley and Wildhorse Valley, trying to find his way back home. Let's please help Mack get home!!
