One of the most heartwarming annual events of the year in Novato will take place Nov. 5 during the big varsity football game between and , the so-called City Championship Game.
Residents from local senior care homes will transported to the Novato High field, treated to a complimentary meal and escorted to reserved seats to watch the local boys play one of
the most important games of the year. The student athletes make sure the senior guests enjoy their day by visiting with the honorees, sharing stories and simply making sure that the experience at the game is memorable.
Elected officials and other dignitaries are scheduled to participate as well. Make sure to show up early to help welcome the seniors and watch them participate in the coin flip before the game.
